Our Story
Melody of Hope Advocacy Center was established in 2006 with a commitment to supporting children and families in our community.
What began as a vision to provide a safe, supportive place for children affected by abuse has grown into a comprehensive center offering specialized child advocacy services and pediatric behavioral health care.
Today, we are proud to serve children and families throughout Eastern Iowa, working alongside community partners to promote safety, healing, and hope.
Celebrating Our Re-Accreditation
Melody of Hope Advocacy Center is proud to announce its reaccreditation by the National Children's Alliance (NCA). This recognition reaffirms our commitment to providing compassionate, child-centered services to children and families affected by abuse.
In addition to meeting NCA's national accreditation standards, our center has also achieved accreditation under the optional Physical Abuse Standard, reflecting our commitment to specialized, high-quality care for children who may have experienced physical abuse.
Our Mission
The mission of the Child Protection Response Center, doing business as Melody of Hope Advocacy Center, is to use an evidence-based, best-practice approach to provide a physically and emotionally safe environment for children who have experienced abuse or maltreatment in Scott County and the surrounding areas.
As an extension of our mission, our center also provides pediatric behavioral health evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management for children and adolescents experiencing behavioral or emotional challenges.
Who We Are
Melody of Hope Advocacy Center is an accredited Child Advocacy Center dedicated to supporting children and families affected by abuse and trauma. We bring together coordinated child advocacy services and pediatric behavioral health care to address the needs of children and adolescents.
Our team works to create a safe, supportive environment where children can be heard, receive appropriate care, and access the services they need. We are proud to work alongside community partners who share our commitment to protecting children and supporting families.
